Abstract

The article will explore the correlation between ethnography and the gesture of care. By placing the act of caring into a socio-cultural dimension it is possible to build up a conceptual map guiding through the paths where both medicine and narrative nursing meet, throughout history, perceived emotion and clinical practice.
