Abstract

The foundation of nursing as science and the meaning of care gesture within the various paradigms of cure (saga) have been defined in previous article. In this second part the related connections with anthropology and ethnography will be explored. The investigated steps will be epistemology foundations of care gesture; the care gesture within the scientific thinking; anthropology and nursing: ethnography and initiation; nursing, anthropology and history: the memory of professional group foundation. These elements are structural parts of the mosaic that draws the modern nursing we know today.
