Call for Section Editor: Drug Repurposing
Drug Target Insights is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated expert to serve as the Section Editor for Drug Repurposing. This section will focus on innovative approaches to identifying new therapeutic uses for existing drugs, encompassing translational research, clinical applications, and regulatory considerations.
Key responsibilities
- Section Editors are responsible for evaluating assigned manuscripts, focusing on internal and external validity, and using their expertise in the relevant domain of their section.
- Ensure the peer-review process is fair, prompt, and up to a high standard
- Solicit high-impact articles, reviews, and special issues.
- Collaborate with the editorial board to shape the vision and direction of the section.
- Promote the journal and engage with the research community.
A strong background in pharmacology, drug discovery, clinical research, or a related field is welcome.
