Abstract

After a brief discussion on the life of the great Spanish composer Manuel Albéniz, the author considers his kidney disease (named Brigh Bright's disease) and its potential effect on his creative inspiration and performance. Finally, the author discusses some final considerations about possible differential diagnosis.
