Basilio Pintuadi has a vast experience in diabetes and diabetes-related conditions, acquired during a long-established professional activity first at the Fondazione Mario Negri Sud and currently at the Ospedale Niguarda Ca'Granda in Milan. 

His professional expertise spans from Type 1 and 2 DM,  Diabetes in pregnancy, Therapy with continuous insulin infusion systems; Management of continuous glucose monitoring systems; Screening, diagnosis and treatment of diabetic foot; Dyslipidemia; Clinical-therapeutic approach to the main acute and chronic pathological conditions of internal medicine; Management and organizational aspects of the activity in hospitalization, day hospital and outpatient clinic, clinical guidelines development and more. He has gained in-depth skills as editor and peer reviewer, authored publications in international and national journals and is a member of several medical associations.
